MÖKKI
MÖKKI is Finnish for »hut«. A »Mökki« is a typical Finnish holiday home, generally built of wood. Traditional »Mökkis« have a very simple log construction and lack modern conveniences. Finns use a Mökki primarily for recreation at weekends and during the summer holidays. Most Mökkis are built at a sufficient distance from neighbouring properties. The huts often stand on the shore of a lake. Log construction in timber, simplicity and the desire for open space inspired our MÖKKI, which is currently planned in a larger and a smaller version.
